The XY era: Japanese sets (2013–2016)

The XY era in Japan ran from Collection X / Collection Y on 13 December 2013 to CP6: 20th Anniversary on 12 February 2016. It introduced Mega Evolution as a mechanic (not to be confused with the later MEGA era), BREAK Evolution, and Pokémon-EX. Standard booster packs: 5 cards.
