The MEGA Evolution era: all Japanese and Korean sets (2025–)

asia era guide history japanese korean mega evolution pokemon pokemon tcg

The MEGA Evolution era launched in Japan on 1 August 2025 with the double release of Mega Brave (M1L) and Mega Symphonia (M1S). It replaced the Scarlet & Violet mechanic (ex) with the Mega Evolution mechanic, and shifted the standard booster pack from 5 to 6 cards. All MEGA sets so far have Korean releases through Pokémon Korea (pokemonstore.co.kr).

How to collect MEGA

Standard MEGA boosters come in boxes of 30 packs × 6 cards. If you are chasing a specific Mega-form pull, buying by the pack is cost-efficient; our Pokémon TCG collection lets you grab a single pack of any MEGA set in Japanese or Korean. Note the M6a 30th Celebration High Class Pack: 10-card packs with reprinted classic artwork, so pack-level odds are much higher than a standard booster.
