How to send cards for grading safely

There have been thefts of shipments sent to grading companies. The safest parcel is the one that never travels by courier.

There and back by hand with Universe TCG

  1. You hand us your cards in person at our Barcelona store, or send them after closing your order with us.
  2. We photograph and record every card, fill in the official order sheet and you sign it.
  3. The order is sealed in security bags with numbered seals and kept in a secure area.
  4. We carry it by hand to Next Grading in Madrid, usually once a month, and bring it back by hand to our Barcelona store.
  5. You pick it up at our Barcelona store with your ID.

When you need shipping

Shipping is optional, insured, at the customer's cost, and only after your express approval:

  • Direct to Next Grading if you do not want to wait for our monthly trip.
  • Back to you instead of collecting in Barcelona.
  • Spain: 5,90 € (Correos Express 24 h) + about 1% of the insured value.
  • Outside Spain: our standard rate by weight + about 1% insurance, quoted per order.

If you send cards to us

Close your order with us first: we only take responsibility for material we have accepted. Shipments to our store travel at the sender's risk, and recording starts when we receive them. Prepare them as explained in how to prepare your cards for grading.
