One Piece EB-05 Heroines Edition Vol.2: Why Demand Is Heating Up
The One Piece Card Game Extra Booster EB-05 "Heroines Edition vol.2" is less than four weeks from its worldwide release, and the temperature is rising. At Universe TCG, Spain's specialist TCG store shipping across the EU, we have watched demand for EB-05 pick up noticeably in recent days, and we want to explain why Extra Boosters behave this way and what it could mean for collectors. This is the speculation companion to our practical EB-05 pre-order and allocation guide.
What Is Confirmed About EB-05
According to the official One Piece Card Game EB-05 page:
- Product: EXTRA BOOSTER -ONE PIECE HEROINES EDITION vol.2- [EB-05], the second Extra Booster to feature the series' heroines.
- Release date: 30 October 2026 for the global English markets, including Europe.
- Card pool: 75+2 card types, spanning Commons, Rares, Super Rares, Secret Rares, Leaders, Special Cards and DON!! Cards.
- Pack price: USD 4.99 manufacturer's suggested price per pack in the US.
- Box format: a booster box contains 24 packs.
- Tournament legality: legal from the pre-release date in each region.
Bandai also notes that, because of the nature of the product, multiples of a card may appear and a complete set can be difficult to assemble from a single box. Keep that in mind when you choose between a box and a case.
Why Extra Boosters Heat Up
An Extra Booster is not a mainline set. It is a smaller, themed release, and that has predictable consequences:
- Smaller card pool, same player base. Everyone who wants the cards is competing for a smaller number of boxes.
- Theme-driven collectors. A heroines-focused set attracts people who may not play competitively but collect characters and art.

Speculation Corner (Clearly Labelled)
Will prices keep climbing? Nobody can say. If demand keeps outpacing the supply stores receive, upward pressure through the release weekend is a reasonable scenario. Who will be affected most? Case buyers and anyone hoping to buy several boxes. When allocation is tight, quantities per customer are the first thing to be reduced, which is exactly what our pre-order policy describes.
