One Piece OP-18 "The Dominance of God": What We Know and What We're Guessing
The One Piece Card Game OP-18 "The Dominance of God" is the next mainline English booster, and the speculation machine is already running at full speed. At Universe TCG, Spain's specialist TCG store shipping across the EU, we are taking pre-orders for OP-18, so we want to give you a clean split between what is officially confirmed and what is pure collector speculation. If you want the practical ordering guide, read our OP-18 pre-order guide. This article is the "what if" companion.
What Is Confirmed
- Name: OPCG Booster Pack -THE DOMINANCE OF GOD- [OP-18].
- English release: November 2026, announced by the official English One Piece Card Game account. Distributors list the English street date as 20 November 2026.
- Japanese release: August 2026, which means the Japanese card pool has been out for a while.
- Artwork: Bandai says OP-18 features two colossal characters illustrated by the legendary artist Yoshitaka Amano.
- Structure: Bandai describes the set as three established themes plus one completely new theme, with a long-awaited character appearing as a Leader for the first time.
- Size: early listings cite 126+1 card types.
Speculation Corner (Clearly Labelled)
1. The title. "The Dominance of God" is a loaded name, and it is natural to wonder whether it points at the Skypiea saga and its self-proclaimed god. Bandai has not confirmed any such link, so file this under fan theory.
2. The Amano effect. Yoshitaka Amano is best known for his Final Fantasy artwork, and "two colossal characters" drawn by him are the kind of cards collectors tend to hunt for the art alone. Whether they become the chase cards of the set depends on their rarity, which has not been confirmed for the English release.
3. The first-time Leader. A long-awaited Leader is a double draw: competitive players want it for the meta, and collectors want it for the art. When both audiences want the same card, supply gets tight quickly.
4. The rumoured follow-up. Some community sources hint that starter decks ST-37 and ST-38 could arrive around December. That is a rumour, not an announcement.
Supply: The Part That Is Not Speculation
One Piece sets routinely sell through at distributor level, and stores often receive less than they ask for. Our pre-order policy is transparent about allocation: final quantities depend on what distributors actually deliver, and we generally fulfil by order date and time. If you want more than one box or a full case, order early and read how OP-18 differs from EB-06.
