PSA card grading: bookings coming soon
PSA is one of the best-known card grading companies in the secondary market. Here is how its grading works, and how we can help you today with pre-grading at our TCG store in Barcelona.
How PSA grades
1 to 10 scale
Whole grades from 1 to 10, where PSA 10 is Gem Mint.
Half grades
For cards, half-point grades from 1.5 to 8.5 for examples at the high end of a grade.
Qualifiers
A grade can carry a qualifier for a specific issue, such as off-centre, staining or print defect.
Public certificate
Each slab has a certification number you can check in PSA's online database.

Can I grade with PSA through Universe TCG?
Not yet. Bookings for PSA are coming soon. Today you can pre-grade your cards with us to know which ones are worth sending and to which company.
How do I verify a PSA certificate?
Enter the certification number from the label in PSA's online cert verification. Verification of the number does not remove every risk, so also check the slab and label.
What is a PSA half grade?
A half point, from 1.5 to 8.5, given to a card that is an exceptional example within the lower whole grade.
