One Piece Card Game: 6 New Starter Decks — ST-31 to ST-36
Update, 29 October 2026: The Starter Decks ST-31 to ST-36 were released on 31 July 2026. Pre-orders have closed; see the product pages below for current availability.
On 31 July 2026, Bandai launched one of the most complete waves in One Piece Card Game history: six Starter Decks at once, one for each colour and playstyle, covering everything from pure aggro to calculated control. And every single one comes with a bonus that makes them impossible to ignore: one booster pack of [OP-16] The Time of Battle.
What's Inside Every Starter Deck?
The structure is identical across all six:
- 1× Constructed Deck — 51 cards, ready to play
- 10× DON!! Cards
- 1× Playsheet
- 1× [OP-16] The Time of Battle booster pack
No modifications needed. Every deck is competitive straight out of the box.
The OP-16 Pack — Why It Matters
[OP-16] The Time of Battle is the main set launching alongside these decks. Bundling a pack into every Starter Deck isn't just a freebie — it's Bandai's way of getting new players into the new meta from day one. For existing players, it's an extra incentive to pick up a deck as a complement to their booster purchases.
Once we have OP-16 cracked open, the most sought-after singles will be listed in our One Piece Card Game catalogue.
The 6 Starter Decks — Which One Is Yours?
ST-31 — RED Monkey D. Luffy · Mono-Red Aggro
The most straightforward deck of the wave. Constant pressure from turn one with Straw Hat Crew effects. If you want speed and simplicity, this is your entry point. Luffy as a leader is also a strong long-term pick for the secondary market on singles.
ST-32 — GREEN Roronoa Zoro · High-Speed Slash-Type
Mono-green built around Slash-type characters. The plan is to break through the opponent's defences before they can stabilise. Zoro as a leader has enormous pull among competitive players and collectors alike.
ST-33 — BLUE Kuzan · Mono-Blue Control
The classic control pick of this wave. Kuzan dominates the opponent's board through lock and removal effects. Ideal for players who prefer to dictate the pace rather than attack first.
ST-34 — PURPLE Charlotte Katakuri · Future Sight Control
The most technical deck in the wave. Katakuri's mechanic lets you "see the future" — anticipating the opponent's plays and planning one step ahead. Higher learning curve, but a high competitive ceiling.
ST-35 — RED/BLACK Sabo · Bicolour Midrange
The only dual-colour deck in the wave, combining Red and Black. Sabo's game plan is deploying multiple characters at once through chain effects — powerful in the mid-game and hard to answer once it picks up momentum.
ST-36 — YELLOW Eustass "Captain" Kid · Midrange Control
Kid in Yellow offers a mixed approach: attack and defend in the same turn, with disruption tools against the opponent's strategy. Two promo cards included make this the deck with the most immediate single-card value on paper.
Is It Worth Buying More Than One?
Yes — especially if you want to explore different playstyles or have someone to play against. With an OP-16 pack included in each, the content-to-price ratio is hard to beat as an entry into the game. For collectors, having all six sealed from the same launch wave holds long-term value.
