Universe TCG opened pre-orders for the One Piece Card Game Illustration Box Vol.8, released on 31 July 2026. Pre-orders closed on 28 July — this was a strictly limited allocation and there are no reprints.
What's Inside Illustration Box Vol.8?
- 2× [OP15-EB04] Adventure on Kami's Island booster packs
- 2× [OP-16] The Time of Battle booster packs
- Exclusive promo: Killer (OP14-005) — illustration variant
- Exclusive promo: Eustass Kid (OP14-014) — illustration variant
Killer & Eustass Kid — Why These Promos Matter
The Worst Generation has always been one of the most popular factions in the One Piece TCG, and Eustass Kid and Killer are two of its most iconic cards. The illustration promo versions in Vol.8 feature premium alternate artwork — the kind that doesn't make it into standard sets.
Previous illustration promos from the series have held and grown secondary market value after release precisely because Bandai does not reprint them. For collectors, that means Vol.8 is a buy-now-or-pay-later situation.
Illustration Box vs Regular Booster — What's the Difference?
A standard booster pack gives you random pulls from the set. An Illustration Box gives you four packs plus two guaranteed exclusive promos with alternate art. You get the draft value of the packs and the collector value of the promos in one purchase — at a lower price per card than hunting promos on the secondary market post-release.
OP15-EB04 and OP-16 — What's Coming
Adventure on Kami's Island [OP15-EB04] continues the Extra Booster line with a new island arc-focused set. The Time of Battle [OP-16] is the main set companion, and early previews suggest it will be one of the most impactful releases of 2026 for competitive play. Getting four packs across both sets in a single purchase is already good value before the promos are factored in.
