One Piece Card Game Illustration Box Vol.7 & Vol.8 — The Promos You Can't Miss
Illustration Boxes are Bandai's premium single-run format for the One Piece Card Game: limited releases, no reprints, combining booster packs from current sets with exclusive illustration promo cards that are not available through any other channel. On 31 July 2026, Vol.7 and Vol.8 launch simultaneously — and Universe TCG has stock of both.
What Makes an Illustration Box Different from a Regular Pack?
A standard booster gives you random pulls from the set. An Illustration Box gives you four packs plus two guaranteed exclusive promos with premium alternate artwork — the kind that never makes it into base sets. For collectors, these are one-of-a-kind pieces. For players, it's the most cost-effective way to get the premium version of cards already running in the meta.
Once stock sells out, these promos are only available on the secondary market — typically at a significant premium over the launch price.

Should You Buy Both?
Yes — and the reason is simple: the four promos are completely different across the two boxes. Vol.7 and Vol.8 share no cards. For collectors tracking their One Piece TCG promo sets, skipping one creates a permanent gap, because these cards are never reprinted.
From a competitive player's perspective: if you're already running Kid or Killer in your deck, getting their illustration version now — before the secondary market drives the price up — is the obvious call.
