Play! Pokémon VG Tournaments — Universe TCG

Registration for the events of Pokémon Video Game Championships (VGC) organized at Universe TCG under the official program Play! Pokémon.

This product may include different types of event (League Challenge, League Cup or other special tournaments). Always check the selected variant to confirm modality and date.

🎮 Game format

  • Pokémon Video Game Championships (VGC)
  • Official rules in effect at the time of the event
  • Swiss system + possible Top Cut depending on participation

📋 Mandatory requirements

  • Arrive 15–30 minutes early to check in properly.
  • Nintendo Switch with sufficient battery and updated game.
  • Team properly saved on the console.
  • Comply with the official legality regulations. No manipulated Pokémon or hacks are allowed.
  • The organizers may conduct random team checks during the tournament.

📝 Submission and presentation of Team List

It is mandatory to have an official Team List correctly completed.

You can send the private list in advance or bring it in physical form on the same day. It may be handwritten, as long as it is clearly legible and complete.

Remember: it is the player's responsibility that the list exactly matches the team used during the tournament.

What does event registration include?

Event registration reserves your spot in the event and covers participation, event materials, and organizational resources.

Depending on the event, this may include product allocation, prize support, judges, and venue preparation. Event structure and rewards vary by event and TCG.

All event registrations are final.

Once confirmed, cancellations and refunds are generally not possible.

Event spots, materials, staff (including judges), and prize support are planned and allocated in advance. For this reason, refunds are difficult to process once registration is completed.

  • If you are able to transfer your spot to another player, we will assist whenever possible.
  • If no replacement player is found, refunds are typically not available.

In exceptional cases involving force majeure (such as illness or other justified circumstances), a partial refund may be considered at our discretion.
