How Yu-Gi-Oh! Sets Work
Main booster sets contain 100 cards and come in packs of 9 cards, 24 packs per box. Set sizes and rarities vary by product type:
- Standard Booster Pack: 9 cards, random rarities
- Booster Box: 24 packs (216 cards total)
- Booster Box Case: 12 boxes (2,592 cards — the investor unit)
- Battles of Legend sets: 5 cards per pack, 24 packs per box — lower card count, higher foil density
- Legendary Duelists sets: 5 cards per pack, 36 packs per box
2026 Sets
Beyond the Brave [BETB] — October 2026
The most anticipated set of late 2026, Beyond the Brave features 100 new cards including 10 Secret Rares, 14 Ultra Rares, 26 Super Rares, and 50 Commons. Extended art Ultra Rares and Starlight Rares are available as chase variants. Pre-orders available now — closes June 25, 2026.
Chaos Origins [CORI] — July 2026
Chaos Origins brings the iconic CHAOS archetype back to the modern format. 100-card set, 9 cards per pack, 24 packs per box. Released July 3, 2026.
Battles of Legend: Glorious Gallery [BLGG] — June 2026
The latest Battles of Legend instalment packs maximum rarity density into a 65-card set — 5 cards per pack, every card available as a foil variant. Released June 5, 2026.
