How to sell bulk Pokémon cards (and get the best price)

In short

  • Bulk is the large number of common and uncommon cards every collection accumulates.
  • Universe TCG pays 4 € in cash or 6 € in store credit per 1,000 sorted English Pokémon bulk cards.
  • Sorting pays: unsorted bulk is paid 25% less.
  • Separate reverse holos, V / EX / Ultra cards and energies: they are paid apart and are worth more.

Step 1: separate what is worth more

  • Reverse holos: 0.01 € each in cash (0.02 € in credit).
  • V, EX and Ultra cards: 0.08 € each in cash (0.10 € in credit).
  • Energies: basic energies go apart (0.80 € per 1,000 in cash); foil energies 0.02 € each.
  • High-value singles: if a card might be worth something, keep it out of the bulk and send it for individual valuation.

Step 2: sort and count

Sort by language and type and count in groups of 100. Sorted bulk is paid in full; unsorted bulk is paid 25% less because we have to do the sorting.

Step 3: get your estimate

Enter your quantities in the bulk calculator, send us the list by WhatsApp and bring the cards to our Barcelona store or send them by post.
