CGC Trading Cards

Beckett Grading (BGS)

Book a Pre-Grade
Contact us to schedule your free pre-grading evaluation. Bring your cards to our store in Barcelona or Segovia, or ship them to us with our secure intake service.
Expert Evaluation
Our team examines each card under UV light, assessing centering, surface, edges, and corners. We give you an honest estimated grade and recommend whether submission is worth it.
Submission & Tracking
We package your cards with professional protective materials, submit to your chosen grading company, and keep you informed throughout the process with regular status updates.
Receive Your Slabs
Once graded, your slabs are returned securely to our store for collection or shipped directly to you. We photograph every slab before handover.

Not sure if your card is worth grading? Our pre-grading evaluation gives you a professional, honest assessment before you commit to submission costs. We examine centering, surface condition, edges, and corners — and tell you exactly what grade to expect and whether it makes financial sense to submit.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does grading cost?
Grading costs vary by company and tier. PSA Economy starts at approximately €25–30 per card, CGC Economy at €18–22 per card. Our pre-grading evaluation is free for cards you subsequently submit through us. Contact us for a full current price list including our consolidation fee.
Which cards are worth grading?
Generally, a card is worth grading if its graded value (at the expected grade) minus submission costs leaves a meaningful profit margin — typically a minimum of 3–5× the raw card value for PSA 10. Vintage holos, first edition cards, and sought-after secret rares are usually good candidates. Our pre-grading service will tell you exactly.
How long does the process take?
Turnaround depends on the tier selected. PSA Economy typically takes 90–120 days from submission. CGC Economy runs 60–90 days. Express tiers from both companies can return results in 10–30 business days at a premium cost.
Do you handle shipping and customs?
Yes. We manage all international shipping, customs documentation, and insurance for submissions to PSA (USA) and CGC (USA). Your cards are packaged in professional card savers and semi-rigid holders inside padded mailers with full tracking.
Can I ship my cards to you for pre-grading?
Yes. We accept card submissions by post with a secure intake process. Contact us at info@universetcg.com before shipping to receive packing instructions and our intake address. We recommend using tracked and insured shipping for any cards of significant value.
