Play! Pokémon TCG Tournaments — Universe TCG

Registration for Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) events organised at Universe TCG under the official Play! Pokémon programme.

This product may include different types of events (League Challenge, League Cup, Prerelease, or other special tournaments). Always check the selected variant to confirm the format and date.

🃏 Game Format

  • Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG)
  • Official format in effect at the time of the event (Standard or as specified)
  • Swiss system + possible Top Cut depending on attendance

📋 Mandatory Requirements

  • Arrive 15–30 minutes in advance to complete check-in properly.
  • A deck legal for the current format.
  • Opaque sleeves in good condition (all identical).
  • Proxy cards are not allowed.
  • Cards must be in an officially permitted European language (Spanish, Latin American Spanish, English, Portuguese, German, Italian, or French).
  • The organiser may carry out random deck checks during the tournament.

📝 Decklist (submission or in-store)

For League Cups, League Challenges (and any event where required), a properly completed decklist is mandatory.

You may submit it in advance or bring a physical copy on the day. The decklist may be handwritten, provided it is clearly legible and complete.

Reminder: it is the player’s responsibility to ensure the decklist matches exactly the deck used during the tournament.

What does event registration include?

Event registration reserves your spot in the event and covers participation, event materials, and organizational resources.

Depending on the event, this may include product allocation, prize support, judges, and venue preparation. Event structure and rewards vary by event and TCG.

All event registrations are final.

Once confirmed, cancellations and refunds are generally not possible.

Event spots, materials, staff (including judges), and prize support are planned and allocated in advance. For this reason, refunds are difficult to process once registration is completed.

  • If you are able to transfer your spot to another player, we will assist whenever possible.
  • If no replacement player is found, refunds are typically not available.

In exceptional cases involving force majeure (such as illness or other justified circumstances), a partial refund may be considered at our discretion.

If you cannot attend, you will be considered as having forfeited the event and will not be eligible for rankings, standings, or prize distribution.

However, any participation-related materials included with your registration may be collected in store at a later date.
