thallax-cohort-mechanicum
Thallax Cohort (Mechanicum, Horus Heresy)

Thallax Cohort (Mechanicum, Horus Heresy)

The Thallax Cohort is a multipart plastic kit that builds six Thallax, heavily augmented cyborg shock troops of the Mechanicum's Ordo Reductor, for the Horus Heresy range. Each model comes with a lightning gun and can instead be built with a phased plasma-fusil, photon thruster or multi-melta, so the box suits players who want a flexible Mechanicum Taghmata squad as much as collectors after the full range of weapon and faceplate options. Universe TCG ships this kit worldwide from Spain.

What's in the box

232 plastic components

6x Citadel 40mm Round Bases

1x Mechanicum Constructs Transfer Sheet with 558 waterslide transfers

5 faceplate designs and 3 leg/arm pose options to mix and match across the six models

Lightning gun for each Thallax, with an optional chain bayonet attachment

Optional melta bombs for every model

Alternative weapon options: a pair of phased plasma-fusils, photon thrusters and multi-meltas

Models supplied unpainted and require assembly; Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints are recommended and sold separately

Who it's for

Horus Heresy players: adds a squad of six Thallax with multiple weapon load-outs to a Mechanicum Taghmata army.

Collectors: five faceplate designs and three pose options per model allow a cohort where no two Thallax look identical.

Hobbyists: an unpainted, mix-and-match plastic kit for players who want to assemble, convert and paint their own models.

About the set

The Thallax serve the Ordo Reductor branch of the Mechanicum, encased in the Lorica Thallax, armour that replaces their skeleton, limbs, organs and nervous system, and carried into battle on Incunabulan jet packs.
